I have believed for decades, that all citizens should take self-defense class, even a little , to get into the mindset of planning ahead what they would do, being aware of their surroundings , having a plan. Instead of freezing in fright. So many grow up with no exposure to self-preservation , or what they would do if unfortunate circumstance presented itself. Especially women. At any age, is not too late to learn a few effective moves.

Being aware in parking lots is vital. Looking way ahead driving in . There are those areas of the country, where predators are known to troll for victims , being approached by natives in sets of two or more, in rez country, or others in cities , whatever is prevalent to the cultural population. Intimidating in groups for money.

Locking sight onto those who have targeted you at a distance, puts them off before they get to you, they look for those exhibiting timid body language , eyes down, or distracted. Some people have great success using their "big voice" warning them to back off before they get even 20 feet away.

Seeing what is happening around you at distance really helps to plan ahead, either to walk back from where you came, or change direction . When leaving the store, always scan underneath parked cars for feet on the other side, but not seen above the hoods.

The choice to stop, and go back from where you came is always an option, if proceeding ahead feels dangerous. Never second guess your instinct.

I like to park in places where I won't be blocked from a car parked in the opposite side. I can drive over the cement block, and into the green space between parking lanes if I need to. My truck is high enough, and 4x4, is no problem. Thinking outside the box in driving is key , when needed. I also like to back in , instead of pulling straight in .

In the case of being blocked from leaving, I would enter my truck, roll down the window, start up, pistol in hand, lowered . Glaring , locked onto them. Depending on what they would do, if they amped up confrontation , or got out to approach, two choices , for me, either roll into their car, and move it, or if they get to the window, take clear aim. Sitting there blocked in is not an option for me, waiting for bullies to tire of threats and name-calling , amping up to physical contact.

For people who have not mentally planned survival modes, those decisions would be difficult to execute, much less think of. That's why so many videos show drivers just sitting in the road while thugs break windows and pull them out of their rig. They are programmed to not hurt anyone, run them over, or take any action to defend themselves.

The grizzly mindset , the whirlwind of protecting her cubs, has been absent from modern humans for a long time.

I would rather explain the real scenarios that everyone sees in videos to a judge, than be yet another victim . Every time I see videos like that, it never ends well for the ones bullied. In your face screaming eventually leads to contact. Rarely does it limit to non touch screaming only. Even that is enough of a threat to make the choice in defense. I don't know of one veteran who would stand for a megaphone blaring inches from his ears , in BATTERY of noise torture, who wouldn't take that nonsense down in short order.

Train those in the family . Just being aware way ahead can help a lot.

I am noticing more black people being nicer and more polite and cordial. I think there is a fear beginning to spread in the black community. Wife was unloading groceries when a car with 2 white women and 2 black men pulled up to her and started calling her a white privileged - . They inched up to her car and started honking and yelling at her. Another customer, who was black, heard what was going on and got between my wife's car and the other. A second black man had seen what was going on and got his truck and forced the other car to back up. They kept the other car blocked until my wife was able to leave the parking lot. She was terrified.

In other words, Hobbie is just fine with what's going on in the cities right now.

You bring up a very good point Willy. I have not read or witnessed any follow up or investigation as to where step by step the funding has come from,( outside of Soros).
More are culpable and need exposure.
