I traded for a Fisher skin hat back in 1982 at a Rendezvous in Tennessee...there were blond and brown real hair locks off each side. Wrapped with red felt and sinus. Having dug some beads in archaeological sites it is always interesting to find them on where the thread rotted out and they are laying there for 200+ years. The real finds are when a pattern is found from a lost Patch to go on a vest. Was it not the trade for a skeene of beads for a beaver hide ?
