If you have something wrong with you the doctors are lazy you have to keep going till they find the problem. Your are beyond correct. Even if it obvious and on the x Ray's right in front of them they will try to give you some be line. Tell you point it out then they will schedule you for surgery.

Need to do some but chewing for sure. If they did that to you it is likely to happen to someone else. I'm not a big fan of judges and lawyers but raising some stink and putting a little fear in them may benefit someone else. Make them a little more careful.
