Its a flesher-Not a draw knife-(draw knife handles are cocked at a right angle to the blade)
Forget that fear of gravity-get a little savagery in your life.

B&M - Paul Bergman and Ralph Massey. I sold of my furs to them when I trapped in S.E. Arizona 1978-1983.

I got one that looks just like that grease and all. It was my first fleshing knife.

Its a flesher-Not a draw knife-(draw knife handles are cocked at a right angle to the blade) you can have strait handled draw knives https://www.fine-tools.com/zug.htmlthe picture above looks like the draw knife in the link it may well have been used as a fleshing knife but did it start life as a draw knife

It's a fleshing knife and I had one similar to it for over 30 years which worked great for fisher and larger pelts.
