Trash your goals and plans for life. Just wing it and you'll never be let down!

Our season has been open for two weeks here in WMU 5C, been too warm to process a deer.

I've been taking the granddaughter squirrel hunting. looks like we'll be doing that again tomorrow.

Good luck to you guys heading out for archery.

Eh...wot?

All the closer the deer got to the stand we are setting in you would need one. Nothing so far just a group of does about 100 yards out.

Was a beautiful morning yesterday. Decided to fill my buck tag early on a small 6, freezer was empty and I needed meat, couldn't be happier

Finally had an opportunity to get out in the stand yesterday morning for the first time this season and 50 minutes later this guy showed up. It's kind of bitter sweet. I really enjoy sitting in a stand in the fall with all of the sights and smells of fall, I always spend alot of time in a stand in archery season and I always take the last 2 weeks of season off to hunt all day for those two weeks and I always get my buck between November 2nd and 7th every year and and I just scheduled those 2 weeks off last week but when this guy showed up yesterday morning shortly after I got in the stand I wasn't going to let him walk by and I am great full the good Lord blessed me with another fine deer and my granddaughter was happy for papa. Thanks hammer. Yea she loves the deer and turkeys and just about any other animals in the woods.😁 We take her for alot of rides in the side by side and teach her what the animals are.she's pretty sharp and knows what most of them are already. Can't wait to get her hunting and trapping when she's ready
