Ok so I jumped in with both feet and you folks are funny. On a more serious note I was curious if anyone used ii as bait and I was actually wondering as if anyone used it to stop them and lead them toward the set. Just curious. Everything loves bacon.

I sprinkled bacon bits every day for about a week straight in front of a trail camera. The country I was in had a lot of gray fox. I did have one picture of a coyote but I have a good number of gray fox on the camera that were looking for and eating the bacon

Ole Roy bark'n bac'n. Hard to resist for most land furbearers. Grind one bag for trailing the other as bait.

I envy y’all that get cold enough to not have to worry about ants!! I have to be selective in my bait and even lure choice until we get a week or so of cold weather. Ants will fill in a dirt hole and even build a mound covering a Pipe Dream set. Even my DP’s will draw ants with anything other than corn, and sometimes the corn even attracts them. Can’t imagine what bacon bits would do, lol.

I had a guy tell me years ago that if you were out and wanted to draw coyotes in, fry some bacon. He didn’t elaborate any and I didn’t have enough sense to ask him to explain what he meant, dangit.

We only use local honey and it’s pretty pricey around here. I wonder if the cheaper honey from Walmart or the dollar store would be just as effective.

Bacon bits, Bacos and so on have a smoky smell. Coon, possums and skunks like the smoky smell. If you use them straight, the itty bitty pieces will have them reaching in over and over again

To keep the price down, ask some restaurant to order some in 1-5 pound bags. This should bring your per ounce or per DP set way down.
