the Finns really knew how to rework a Mosin re-crown improved trigger new front sight modified rear sight with square sight notch a 200 yard shelf cut clearance in the stock to free float the barrel you can get some of the M27/M28 sight component here https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=10953&idcategory=17the M39 sight was better yet but I don't know where you can find those parts the M39 had a screw adjustable front sight for windage I wish I would've picked up a Finish Mosin 20 years ago. A guy was literally going to give it to me for nothing. Didn't know there was that much of a difference at the time. I'm happy with my junk gun though. I can kill easily with open sights out to around 100. This year soft nose ammo has been hard to come by though.
