Yeah, can't stand those 2. It is a waste of money, but I'm pretty sure they did flyovers, in the years before Donald...shouldn't it be Biden/Harris ticket?

I haven't followed football in decades so I had no clue who these two were. From reading the article I gather they are former pro football players turned announcers. Why would anybody give a crap what they say or think?
It seems like over the last decade or so the majority of folks involved in sports, whether they be announcers, show hosts or participants, have become liberal, whiny-arsed crybabies including these two buffoons.
Why anybody would continue to watch that anti-American crap is beyond me.
Eh...wot?

As stated these are training runs which go on daily. Screw those buffoons, just another reason to do away with pro sports.

Don't normally comment on anything. However need to say something. The United States is protected by our Armed Forces 24 -7, 365. All volunteers. Have not had a draft in decades. Our military has to go a recruit all of the staffing. They have to advertise, seek out and find the best qualified candidates. Our security is dependent on this. Many people are impressed with the show of speed, power, and discipline when the jets do a fly over. So do our allies and so do our enemies. Many of our Soldiers,Sailors and Air men enlisted to be part of that. Reference to waist of money. No way No how. Pilots must fly planes,.Force's crews must train. Military must recruit. Reference to the Foot Ball play by play guys I am not offended. To me just two more that take their freedom for granted. They fly for freedom. Lots of wasted tax dollars. Military show of force and discipline not one of them. Just my 2 cents. USAF VETERAN I volunteered and took the oath.
Ask a dying man if he would like more money or more time. Then ask yourself the same question.

I think the rest of the world is well aware of our capabilities and flying over a stadium isn't impressing anyone in the world except for us. Also fly overs aren't exactly a skilled exercise. Practice over the desert or gulf and use the time to do more technical maneuvers.

The stadium they were sitting in was built with taxpayer money to the tune of 168 million dollars. Talk about a waste of taxpayer money. And the taxpayers just had to pony up another 10+ million to update it for covid. More wasted taxpayer money.
If you do some digging, you will find that most major sports venues are either heavily subsidized or are 100% built with tax dollars.

Practice over the desert or gulf and use the time to do more technical maneuvers. Ok then you go up in a plane and pilot it within feet of another plane doing 300 mph if it isn't a skilled exercise. You only see the flyover part of the exercise. What you are missing is the prep the flight crews get. The experience they get flying over occupied areas. Flying in close formation so they can surround and protect Air Force One. Could they do it over the gulf? Yup and psst here's a clue..... They do. Every stadium has it's own set of challenges to contend with. Terrain, buildings, altitude, weather to name but a few. I guess by your thinking they should quit doing live fire exercises in taking over buildings. The Navy should quit doing practice rescue missions. It's ok they'll still be out there walking that wall protecting you even if you think them preparing is a waste.
