I last sent to NAFA in 2016. I felt like a fool because I saw others getting better prices from NAFA. Now I'm glad I made the decision and didn't get the shaft last year.

Well your $100.00 WFSC membership disappeared when NAFA went under. The WFSC money had grown to millions of dollars and was loaned to NAFA at I think 6%. When NAFA went under your WFSC money went with them.

The officers of the WFSC should be hung gutted and quartered.

NAFA did.
Pretty good source. GFW bought most of the wild fur. Little over 2 million $.
Prices I heard on different species was horribly low, but if I was buying that big a bunch it would have to be dirt cheap as well.

If GFW actually did buy most of the wild fur I'll guarantee it was bought dirt cheap. laugh

GFW was most likely one of the only buyers that was able to buy this amount of furs and store it so it basically could be bought for whatever they would like to pay for them

NAFA has to vacate their building in Toronto by October 31, 2020. They couldn’t be too particular about what offers they were accepting. Better 20,000 red fox gone at $5.00 average than 100 here at $20.00 and 250 there at $$15.00.

I can tell you that the NAFA employees that were retained to dispose of the unsold pelts were not enjoying what they had to do. In fact, it was a struggle for them to have to do what they did. And know that when the goods were all gone, they were out of a job.

I’m talking about mid level management, guys I know personally, not the upper echelon. So please have a bit of sympathy for them. They didn’t create this mess but they did have to help clean it up.

Bounced check is one thing, but paying the bank fee sucked.

Well I am not to smart but when it walks like a duck it’s probably a duck. Lots of cheap wild fur still hanging around the markets for a while yet. It would have been best thing if all got burned to ashes. Trappers screwed, Groeny gambles on a weak market and it all repeats over again.
