Most being rifle from 22 Hornet and 17 Rem to 45-120 and 50-140 I’ve got 19 RCBS, 19 LEES, 3 Lymans and 2 Hornady. The only complaints I’ve got are the Hornadys. Good thing they come with extra parts.

EdP trapper E Joined: Mar 2012 Posts: 3,872 meadowview, Virginia	RidgeRunner, I don't have the tools to check runout but use the seat & turn technique and have found it improves the bullet seating depth consistency. James, I tried neck turning but didn't find any improvement in accuracy. Further reading on the subject suggested neck turning could be counter productive unless you have a premium match grade barrel with a tight chamber. Unless the chamber is tight at the neck, removing material from the neck just increases the extra space available for misalignment.

This will give you true measurements off the ogive every time no matter what bullet you use.
