Yep--- time to escape while we still can. Or take down a couple of cities ( sounds like portland will be a good start since blm didn't get "their" mayor in) . I do wish them luck in that endeavor as long as I don't have to pay to rebuild that s-hole.

I think they should remove the narcan from all the patrol cars and see how well they do. I know if i was playing cop in portland i would be hard pressed to use it as they are not very friendly when you take away their "high"

drugs

its pretty crazy... ill cut n paste a bit of it
What did Measure 110 change about drug possession offenses?
See also: Oregon drug possession laws
The measure reclassified personal/non-commercial drug possession offenses. Possession of a controlled substance in Schedule I-IV, such as heroin, cocaine, and methamphetamines, was reclassified from a Class A misdemeanor to a Class E violation resulting in a $100 fine or a completed health assessment. Individuals who manufacture or distribute illegal drugs are still subject to a criminal penalty. The Oregon Criminal Justice Commission estimated that convictions for possession of a controlled substance would decrease by 3,679 or 90.7%.[2][3]

The health assessments are conducted through addiction recovery centers and include a substance use disorder screening by a certified alcohol and drug counselor. Health assessments must be completed within 45 days of the violation.[2]

You might want to wait it out. Won’t take long for the drugs to take their toll. Crime will go up a little but with no police you can handle it yourself and you aren’t obligated to get into a wrestling match with them.

If I was a younger man I’d get into the ME profession or undertaker business out there. Going to be a huge demand for them in the near future.

Too late -- ours just came from the south. Alot of good ones came from the south too though, but even they are getting harder to find.

A libertarian dream to decriminalize drugs. Let's see how the experiment works.

Lets not == i am tired of chasing the meth-heads and dopers down our road and away from our neighborhood. So are all my neighbors. I don't mind all the homeless as much (except the ones that are throwing all their garbage away at thge 2 bridges about a half mile from my house) . It is way past time to vote with the dollars and not in november. The november vote doesn't matter in this state. The last election (before this one) that i voted in was the one where the ballot outlawed chasing cougar and bear with dogs -- (1987 app) I see that my vote counted for as much now as it did then.
