We live 1/2 hour outta San Antonio. We'll be selling in the spring (had that plan already in place due to my studies) and just about that time, the out of staters should be flowing in even more than now. Texas is going crazy. Folks with the means are moving here. I have about one call a week from realtors now about our property. I say hold Hooooolllllld Hooooooollllllllldddddd.

Jim I liked it. It was hot. So were the women. Not like here where we are impressed with the size of their chainsaws.
Who is John Galt?

Mark, you mentioned the 10 fasted growing states but I only see 5 listed, what are 6 thru 10?
I got myself a seniors' GPS. Not only does it tell me how to get to my destination, it tells me why I wanted to go there.

Texas will have 3 new US congressional seats next election. Great news is the state legislature remained red although one tech dude alone donated $12 M to try and swing the tide to blue for our upcoming redistricting. Red will redistrict. I live in a district that will be split into 2. I HOPE I won't have Henry Cuellar any more, the open up the border at all cost Dem, who pays no attention to any conservative voice except perhaps the 2nd amendment. I think we'll be voting. on a new US congressman next election cycle. My area east of San Antonio is hard core red.
Blessings Mark

Unfortunately, it appears a lot of people moved out of CA as they were not happy. They moved to CO and turned it into CA-East. Watch out for the hostile takeover of the red states.

We hear a lot about the young wealthy. Us baby boomers have the hand on the wealth steering wheel however according to CNBC in a 2016 article. Born from 1946-1964. The study found that the average American millennial household today (ages 20 to 35 in 2016) has an average net worth of $100,800, while the average American baby boomer household today (ages 52 to 70 in 2016) has a net worth of $1.2 million (all values are adjusted for inflation), reported Mallika Mitra for CNBC. Could a windfall from the richest generation – baby boomers – reverse the fortunes for millennials? Unlike millennials, baby boomers are the wealthiest generation in history – and will remain that way until roughly 2030.
Oh boy. Baby boomers are on the move everywhere. But we probably all already knew that. Health, wealth, weather, politics are all reasons they are moving.
Blessings, Mark
