Came to a grunt call at 7:30am. Thanks to all who recommended the grim reaper broadheads, he went 20 yards and dropped like a stone. He's no trophy, but the whole point this year was meat in the freezer and he was the deer that showed up. There was a lot of adversity involved in even getting out there this year, and thanks to the good Lord, I got one. First ever bow (xbow) deer and the bow performed flawlessly.
Just happy to be here.

Seemed ok but only 1 blade deployed. I will wash it up tomorrow for a better look

Your theory is probably correct midlander as the heart was sliced wide open and the lungs were scrambled up. He was quartering to so the bolt travelled from his left front shoulder and exited at the back of his rib cage on the other side. About 8" of the bolt passed completely through and the exit was huge... I had wondered if a single blade could have done that much damage
