I ride mine in a salty environment. I try to spray any aluminum parts with silicone spray every year or two. The silicone soaks into the pores of the aluminum and prevents that white powdery corrosion from forming.

A can of Fix a Flat for when you run over roofing nails. Whoever fixes your tires will hate you for that. Why not carry along a packet of plugs and a bicycle pump and fix in on the spot?

I use mine to trap with. Pull it with a modified old boat trailer. I took a big plastic walmart tote and drilled four holes in it. Bought a four foot long piece of flat steel 1 inch wide and 1/8 incnch thick. Cut 4 pieces of the steel 3 inchs long and drilled a hole in the center of each. Cut the 3 foot piece left in half and drilled a hole on each end. The 1 1/2 foot pieces go inside the tote and the short pieces under the rear rack. Bolt it on. Never had any trouble with it and the whole thing was less than 20 bucks.

I don't understand that logic. I hear it quite often but I'm not sure it's true. Fix a flat or whatever other brand you use it quite common these days. Shops are in the tire business for a reason. I'm sure they have a technique or something figured out to deal with that stuff by now.

I pull mine from property to property with my pickup. I carry a lot of stuff in that pickup. Including tire plugs and a small 12 volt air compresser bought at harbor freight. Those cheap walmart ones work on atv tires. i dont know how many amps an atv produces so never tried tried it on the 4 wheeler battery.

The biggest ATV topic right now in my area is whether to allow them on town roads. we have them on everything but the state highway running through town , you have to cross that only we have had really only one issue since we started allowing it in 2016 on just some streets then expanded it in about 2019 to al but state Hwy people going to be stupid here or there with anything but atv on roads are not that big of an issue.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I have rode for miles on logging road with a flat tire on the honda 300trx. The tire only takes 2.5 lb of air. If you go at a medium fast speed the centrifugal force will stand up the tire.

Not really almost every atv around here has one. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2023/04/full-21521-175188-dscf2986.jpg) [/quote] Are those custom made? I really need one of those.

Yea,the local welder in every town makes them. Tom will make them out of SS if you want. They bolt on and off with four 3/4 inch bolts to four plates welded to the racks. I got two bikes and Tom welded the small steel plates and drilled them so that the rack is interchangeable between the Bikes. Cost me a couple pair of nice fur mitts. I put the plexiglas windshield on myself-thats why it looks shiggedy.

Should you go s x s verses a quad, chain saw carrier, gun rack that attaches between the front and rear roll bars, and should you happen to have one with adjustable air shocks an air hose that connects to your compressor with valve stem connecter to add air to either your tires or tires of any one on another machine.

Thought so, Kimpex shows they have some but google but can’t find it on their site. I’ll talk to a few welders. That bucket rack looks wicked too.
Fix a Flat also freezes. If you use it, at least let the tire shop know what’s in there cuz it’s messy and they have to clean the area to fix. Valve stem may be junk too. I’ve driven on flats no problem. I find out it’s flat when I get back to the road.
