Does anyone think the numbers would be this high if there were not people making money off the numbers? What if they started charging them rather than paying them? They report anything that looks like Rona and are paying people to get tested to keep the BS numbers up.

What's the death rate now? Increasing, stable, or decreasing?

Our inpatient numbers have more than doubled in the past week. The way it’s trending we’re about to see some pretty bad stats. Just for reference the active infections in our hospital is twice as many as it was at any point in the spring. I work at a large hospital in KC. Can’t really say more How many of those inpatients have serious underlying conditions?? Is the china virus doing the damage or one of those conditions? Thats the real question. I work on ambulance when Im not in the bush and I see lots of situations where the patient doesn't have a 98-99% chance of survival like they do with the virus. Part of the problem is that America is a very sick nation ( because of their diet.) Recent studies show that 42% of the population over 30 are insulin resistant. As Im sure you know, that leads to all kinds of nasty things. Im not making light of the virus, but I think for some reason they want people running scared. They tell us that the survival rate is almost 99%, and that most people who get it wont even know they have it. Then we hear that hospitals are overflowing. We've had one death in Yukon that the government is attributing to covid. Now people are freaking out and want the masters to lock us all down indefinitely. Happen to know the paramedic that was on the call that night. The covid patient was over 80 and a very sick person BEFORE contracting the virus. Is covid responsible for that death?? Maybe, maybe not, but when you are over 80 and in very poor health death isn't unexpected.

Happen to know the paramedic that was on the call that night. The covid patient was over 80 and a very sick person BEFORE contracting the virus. Is covid responsible for that death?? Maybe, maybe not, but when you are over 80 and in very poor health death isn't unexpected. People live there lives with comorbidities everyday. They likely wouldn’t be in the hospital if they didn’t have those comorbidities making them at higher risk but they certainly wouldn’t be in the hospital if they didn’t contract the virus. Also those of you who think hospitals are just trying to up there numbers to get more money don’t understand how the system works. I assure you the hospital will make much less from an 80 year old on a ventilator for 2 weeks before he dies than all the surgeries and elective admissions they miss out on when things get too full. Now the notion that we are being filled “over capacity” is a likewise false perspective. Our hospital runs at or near capacity because that’s how hospitals make money. It doesn’t take a large Covid surge to go “over capacity”. When that happens the hospitals just adjust their elective numbers down to remain at or near capacity. Not telling y’all to run and hide. Maybe just don’t cough on grandma at thanksgiving. The virus is real, people die. People also live. Doesn’t make a whole lot of of sense to be reckless and try to figure out where you might land. Also doesn’t make sense to stay in your basement.

1 of every 32 Americans have or has had the positive Covid virus.
In a gathering of 50 people, there is a 69% probability that someone has a positive infection.
In a gathering of 15 people, there is a 29% probability of a positive person.
Scary numbers if you are a WalMart shopper or must work in a public position. Your calculations are baloney. if 1 in 32 have or has had the virus, most of those are in the "had" category and are no longer infectious. Also, most people who are sick with the virus do not go into group gatherings - they stay home. Finally, of those with a postive test for covid, a percentage of them may have only had the common cold virus - not the coronavirus. So, your probability for encountering a sick person is way overblown. Second, it's not a question of "if", but "when" you will be exposed. They can't stop the emerald ash borer, asian carp, kudzu, round goby, zebra mussel, lamprey eels, japanese honeysuckle - what makes you think they will be able to stop the spread of coronavirus? It's coming for you and you are going to get it eventually. Stop worrying and get on with it already. Keep on living until you die.

As if anybody is going to believe a yahoo with absolutely no credentials in infectious disease,on a trapping forum, over highly educated infectious disease scientists who are all on the same page on the infection and spread of covid 19,and the best ways to mitigate the spread until it has run its course, and has mutated into a benign seasonal bug like the spanish flu and Swine flu. LOL.

so the test is faulty and that is why he not positive?
I don't think that's the case. About a month ago, one of my secretaries called in on Monday morning that she wasn't feeling well and had lost her sense of taste and smell. We told her to stay away until she got tested. She did and tested positive. She's married and her husband twice went into the same place she was tested and was negative both times. It's a month later, she back to work and he never tested positive.
