We have recently purchased a house after selling our house a year ago. I went to the local dump and met a Veteran who's also a trapper. He asked me if I was hunter and I said yes sir and trapper. He asked if I had any mink boxes. Which I don't . He gave me one that he made. We talked a little but it was busy. I thanked him for his service and the mink box. I told him we will have to spend some time talking about hunting and trapping. He knows where we live and the river that runs through our property. He's friends with one of my neighbors that I bought our firewood from. We have only 10 acres but I told him he was welcome to hunt, fish and trap there. Everyone in the town that we have dealt with have been very nice. We lived in a housing development before this and didn't know a quarter of the people living there. So happy we waited until we found what we wanted before buying a house even though renting was really expensive at $1100 month $300 per month heat and $150 per month electrical for a double wide trailer. But the end result was worth it.

The bitterness of poor quality last a lot longer than the sweetness of low price

Awesome story. Still good folks in this world. Thanks for sharing.

Beautiful story! Thank you for sharing! This also made me feel better about renting longer and waiting until I can financially afford to buy a house.
