I had a pheasant walk right up to me deer hunting last year.
must have known I had the wrong gun in hand I could have touched it with the barrel of my rifle
it flew when I tried to grab it quick , dinner is dinner even if I had the wrong gun , season was open and I had a license by hand is a valid means of taking a bird.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

I had the same thing happen a few year ago but I was setting a mole trap, made a funny sound.
