DisplayName OP trapper D Joined: Oct 2020 Posts: 14 NC	Looking to throw together a DP bait with what i have on hand just looking for some feedback. Shelled feed corn, game bird feed,and high protein fish feed, add a touch of molasses and some oil that i have soaked anise seed in. Let me know your opinions. Thanks in advance

Hornady Reloader trapper Joined: Aug 2016 Posts: 3,172 Wyoming County Pa.	tested 3 baits this year. Cat food, fish pellets , and homemade fish bait. Cat food was by far the best.

The added smoke is great, especially as it gets colder and real vanilla is super when it's warmer. I puree mine with a SECRET ingredient, and make it into a paste that spoons in real easy and doesn't interfere with the triggers like whole cat food can. It's not rocket science- 'coon will eat anything. But this stuff I use is freeze-proof (the SECRET ingredient that I use to keep all of these high-dollar 'coon to myself) and is so killer I wish I could get it patented. Because of all the 'coon it catches and all of the money that I make off of them. Secrets... Sigh. Dale Leave this long-haired country boy alone...
