Had shoulder surgery in June and couldn't set # 3 bridgers but got some of Daves setters and no trouble at all. very pleased with them.

I have had very good success holding coyotes and fox with the 1 1/2 Minnesota Brand 450's Offset. They are a one an a half but very solid, rounded jaws. I have held several coyotes in them with no problem. They are fairly easy to set. Much easier of course than a #3. Keep rubber boots off oily surfaces and set them with your feet on levers and I would say anyone could set them.

My ten year old has no trouble setting mb550s, I would think if he can then an elderly gentleman probably could. Of course mine are about ten years old, so the springs aren’t at brand new strength and I removed the 4coil springs. They still have zero problem holding coyotes though. I hope I can still run a line in my 70s, if I make it that long

I can set MJ500-600 traps on my knees no problem with Dave’s setters it saves a lot of time at the set trying to set without them.
