I'm starting to think that latex covers have an odor. Even though I take great care like using tweezers to take out of the bag, giving them a spray with Scent Killer. It is the only thing new that I have done this year and catches are waay down. I think I will go back to using a wet Oak leaf.

Have not tried them yet, but a buddy gave me some to try . When he opened the package of them I noticed a strong latex odor . I am kinda leery to try them myself.

After bedding my 2 Bridger dogless with the trap cap, a nice wet Oak leaf covers the pan very nice

I've tried it both ways with the same result.

I have been using them and I do not see much difference. The only thing I could think is you have more educated animals then mine as mine have not been trapped in years
