I know a guy with a Chev HHR. I don't know the year, but the last one was built over 10 years ago.

He has 400,000 miles on it, and still going strong. He attributes it to only using E-85. "Just look in my tailpipe, it's light rust....No soot at all", he says.

I use non-ethanol in my small engines too. a lot of these gas stations only have one hose at the pump for non-ethanol and various grades. how much ETHANOL GAS do I get before the non- ethanol starts coming out?

When I'm at pumps like that I always put the 1st gallon in whatever I'm driving, then fill gas cans.

Ethanol fuel has made me a lot of money over the years fixing small outboards that live on the railing of larger sailboats to power the dink. The ones that don't listen and still use the drunk fuel pay for the carb rebuilds and give me more money than they saved buying the cheaper fuel. Some never learn.
