No competition and millions of coons in IA makes 1000 easily done by December first. If he traps coon in the rut he will go from a three fitty average to a dollar fitty. All it takes is a work ethic and a strong back, arms and legs and be able to stay on top of all of it without getting killed. LLL

But he has a skull market. Not a lot of good coon skulls that have no damage. Can sell baculum for fifty cents and maybe a carcass market since I believe he had a walk in freezer in the video so maybe five grand with the meat. Gross. LLL

LLL I figured no competition this year as well larry since it's the worst prices I've ever seen. Actually quite the opposite in NE iowa the coon got pounded on until after Thanksgiving now everyone went away. When our dnr officer came to tag an otter he even commented on the large amount of trappers this fall. I say any free videos are good for guys getting started especially.

I know a guy who trapped 2000+ coon right next to a guy who trapped 3000+ coon when they averaged 30.00 finished and the average "trapper" per ditch was about five. Not that long ago. LLL
