I can't get an answer from my doctor, only I decline to guess, any one have research if people that had SARS 1 can get SARS 2 or the renamed virus Cov19?

I haven't heard anything about that though SARS 1was more limited in scope as I don't remember it really getting into the US, though I think canada seemed to get quite a few cases

All official Canadian information on the SARS and N1H1 outbreaks and vaccines are blocked online that I can find, living so close to Canada in 09 any flu like virus in my area that winter, people were not tested or allowed to the hosipal only told to say home many of the sick people in 09 have had family that had cov19 and they did not get sick when the rest of them tested positive in the same house

H1n1 is a different family of virus from coronavirus. Odds are there were probably some people out there that have had both h1n1, they stopped testing for it after a while, and covid-19.

Simple answer is we don’t know. It’s unlikely that a person would have full immunity. It’s also unclear if people will need yearly vaccines. It all comes down to the virus’s ability to mutate successfully. Some viruses, take measles for example, become unable to infect us if the protein structure mutates. For this reason the measles vaccine is lifelong. Flu on the other hand mutates successfully thus vaccines can help but not 100%. We don’t know where our new friend is going to land.

then how could a vaccine be more effective than having recovered from covid . At this point how many people have been reinfected . There was one that made the national news back in September /October

Because, from what I have been able to understand, the degree of immunity from being infected MAY be proportional to the severity of the original infection. So it's possible that someone who had a mild case, or an asymptomatic case, may have little or no immunity at all.

At this point I believe there have been only 4 confirmed reinfections. There was some oddities about those but I cant recall them off the top of my head.
