The easiest.
Bout two minutes to skin, two or 3 minutes to scrape and board, and a couple minutes to turn.

Hey, Boco, you'd be so proud of me. I finally went against my grain and did some open water beaver trapping. Seemed weird not pulling a sled with a chainsaw, traps and other such things needed to access beaver under the ice but I did it. I even caught one. Skinning commences shortly.

Nice!

At first glance at the first pic I thought they were red fox.

I've never seen one live or handled their pelts. They look bigger than I thought they were. What does a typical male martin weigh?

Eh...wot?

I'd probably freeze to a stump like Hatchet Jack but I sure would like to try a frozen tundra trapline. Nice looking fur Boco.

I love under the ice beaver trapping, and yes, I clean skin and tidy them up over my knee.

There is a big difference in a juvenile female and an adult male.
A juvenile female might be 3/4 lb,a big male 2+ lb.
