Not sure that it works that way. I think you get what you get if I understand it right.
Hopefully Tom will fill us in a little. I think the deal was they take the cat, get it dressed and then offer it up to overseas buyers and charge a flat fee for selling/dressing deducted from what the buyer has payed.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

They sent confirmation they received the cats, haven't heard anymore, they are the best ones I caught. Life is a gamble---so is the fur market! Beaverpeeler is the way I understood the deal.

Might want to hold off for a bit. I heard from a very good source there WILL BE a sale in Prineville and one in Klamath for this season. They will work out a system to meet any covid requirements. Check with Don Nickols. Ted

Groenwold provided a detailed description of the program, but seemed to leave out the most important part. How do they set valuations, or asking price, for these cats when they present them to potential buyers? Guessing it is the same way any auction house previously set their valuations. Probably people in the fur market for decades and dealing in Europe that are familiar with the high end bobcat market.
