Even if Midway were to make it right you would still be out the time and hassle of shipping them back and waiting for the right ones to show up.
High BC match bullets typically mean a longer ogive. That means a faster twist may be needed.
While I'm not nearly as geographically remote as you, it's pretty much a full day if I want to go anywhere to purchase components. If something isn't listed I double check before I buy, especially with high BC bullets. The folks at Sierra and Hornady are very helpful with questions about their products. Hornady usually answers an email in less than an hour.
With the current state of ammunition I would just be thrilled with Midway for actually having something in stock... They've been out of most of my stuff for weeks now.

https://www.sierrabullets.com/product/243-caliber-95-gr-tmk/James, the product descriptions are there for convenience, but the onus is still on the consumer to purchase the correct product. Sure, twist rate info would have been nice, but in the end, you received exactly the bullet you ordered. You are the one who made an uninformed decision.
You ordered a product not compatible with your rifle and didn't do your due diligence in researching it as you made an assumption about the bullets. A quick check at the manufacturer's website or a phone call to Sierra would have stopped an issue before you had one. You received the product you ordered. Midway will refund the product price. You simply have to ship it to them. A reasonable response by any on line retailer. Kind of a lifetime problem for him.

Thanks again for spending your money here in Missouri, James. I would say if you're not happy with Midway you could always try BassPro.. If that doesn't work and you're looking for a way to drown your sorrows than I would suggest a tall boy of Budweiser. lol

James has both a bass pro and Cabelas store where he lives. As well as smaller gun type stores. Also has more outdoor type stores 30 miles north. Probably won't let him in where he voted biden

I have ordered the wrong thing from Midway myself in the past. Owned my mistake, paid the rtn postage, and got a prompt refund.
I had a similar situation as James with a 22-250. It had shot very well with 53 gr bullets until I tried some Hornady Vmax. They were all over the place because they were tumbling. The extra length due to the plastic tip made them unstable in my rifle because it moved the center of force further away from the center of mass. Somebody on here, cmcf or paul hepner maybe, got me squared away on what was happening. We all need to be careful about required twist rate when we try secant ogive and plastic tipped bullets. Thanks for the mention EdP. I generally try to help if it’s something I have experience with. After 40+ years of messing with this stuff there is still a ton of things I know little about, but the simple things and basics I am confident I have a pretty good grip on. I stopped responding to James posts as he has demonstrated his lack of understanding and skills and unwillingness to accept help from people like GreencountryPeet who have forgotten more about firearms and reloading than James will ever know. For example a 1 in twelve for a .223 Remington. Huuh? Bbbut the book says 1/7-1/9 for those ugly black rifles WTH ? Yet that particular gun will stabilize 62gr pills and hold dime size groups all day. Not all muzzle crowns are created equal! Wait! What? Yep twist ain’t the only thing affecting stability. Anyhoo Good luck James! As usual, you are wrong again. And double spacing your response and breaking it down for us as if we are dim witted children further reinforces my belief your requests for information and desire to badmouth a first rate business simply isn’t worth my time. Midway ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!

I had a uncle back in the day, gone now. He talked down to all the relatives as he had a higher education. Dad called him a educated dummy, said he was to smart for his own good. He got his tit in the wringer more than anyone I knew.

He got his tit in the wringer more than anyone I knew. Most of the idiots I know are college edumaked and have white collar jobs or school teachers, they are usually pretty stupid also. In fact, if I rank idiots I know, I would have to say: 1. Engineers 2. Lawyers 3. School teachers (including college professors).
