Let me spell it out, since you're having a hard time getting it.
The rifle is a standard Winchester Model 70 Featherweight.
I knew it had a ten-inch twist when I bought it. Most of my reloading manuals use a ten-inch-twist barrel in their load data.
What I didn't know was that this particular box of bullets requires a nine-inch twist barrel.
Midway should have disclosed that limitation (yes, it's a word) in its lengthy product description. In product descriptions for other Sierra bullets, they do disclose the required twist rate, if it's not standard.
Absent notice of the nine-inch limitation, I assumed the bullets were suitable for standard rifles, like my Winchester.
If it happened to you, you would complain. Because you don't like my vote (as if it's any of your business!), you won't concede I have a beef.

Didn't know a company had to explain their bullets and what gun to shoot them in to a Reloader I doubt you'd have an issue with a 1/10 twist maybe with the old 100 grain roundnose with a long bearing surface Remington supposedly had issues with the .244 and 1/12 twist stabelizing 100 grainers

https://www.sierrabullets.com/product/243-caliber-95-gr-tmk/James, the product descriptions are there for convenience, but the onus is still on the consumer to purchase the correct product. Sure, twist rate info would have been nice, but in the end, you received exactly the bullet you ordered. You are the one who made an uninformed decision. You ordered a product not compatible with your rifle and didn't do your due diligence in researching it as you made an assumption about the bullets. A quick check at the manufacturer's website or a phone call to Sierra would have stopped an issue before you had one. You received the product you ordered. Midway will refund the product price. You simply have to ship it to them. A reasonable response by any on line retailer.

James your looking at this all wrong
first have you tried sending any , seldom are things a hard and fast rule it is possible some 1:10 will shoot them fine with the right pouder charge
second you were just going to deposit them in the dirt any way so they saved you the cost of powder and primer.
3rd as they say over on the reloading page , if you get brass or bullets that don't fit what you have , that is just a sign you need to buy something to fit them
so now you can go buy yourself a 6mm creedmore or a 6mm PRC and load up those bullets for the long range , and when your wife complains say honey it' the rules I must comply.
also before Amazon everyone required you to ship back unwanted product at your own expense.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

This is not personal nor meant to be so please don't take it that way. Perspective. This is a mach 1 mod 0 factory rifle. It is not a 1,00 yard custom. They manufacture factory rifles to shoot fairly accurately with any factory load you feed them. Yes by reloading you can usually tighten them up. The twist recommendation is just that a recommendation. I have a custom 30-378 wby that shoots best with a bullet recommended for a 9 twist. The rifle is a 10 as recommended by one of the top smiths in the country who barreled it and worked up the loads for it. It shoots lights out at pretty much any distance I can do my part. I would work up some loads with those bullets and bet you will be pleasantly surprised. Couple questions. Have you done the barrel break in yet? Have you put enough rounds through it to work out any other bugs it might have? Stock contact,Scope tracking, scope mounting. torch issues and so on and so on. If you really don't want to load them contact midway they have a pretty good return policy. I order from them all the time and have never had an issue especially with customer service.

I can see how this would be "misleading". If you go on MidwayUSA's website... Most of Sierras mention the twist rate. The one James posted does not have a twist rate listed. My gunsmith said the same thing James did. If no twist rate is listed it is safe to assume that it will shoot in any rifle. He spends $1,000's a month there, so I'll take him at his word.
He also said that unless you're loading for some sort of target competition the average shooter really isn't going to notice much, if any difference in performance.

My son sells a few gun parts and although most all were VERY happy 99.99% the other .01 % complained that they wanted to return the item because it did not fit their gun or work for their use. Those people that wanted a return were buying in hopes it worked or just did not understand what they were buying. So because of that the seller should eat the cost of shipping return, loose a customer that may have bought it and pay labor, gas and shipping expense out of his pocket because the buyer is a dumb a..Not saying James is just adding some information to the topic.
