Skinning a coyote last night and sliced its eye, squirted right into my eye. First time in 17 years of skinning coyotes. Fairly certain I’ll need to go get some antibiotics, I can feel it getting irritated.

The big question is, how long until I get night vision now?

I've fixed many a ruptured pig and sometimes they would get infected. One time I was lancing one of those and he jerked just right to squirt right in my mouth. Yes I like ham and gravy, but in a different setting.

How lucky can you get, if your mouth had not been open that would have gotten all over your face.
