Are these villages built on too low of ground? Poor drainage or, just too much water all at once or what? I have never experienced a typhoon or been to the Philippines, so am curious. Too much water all at once and many times tidal waves coming with. Its a tropical country with rainy season and dry,,rains last for days, commonly.
