I do this every year just to keep my calluses in good shape. You guys drinking on the job lol? I make it a habit to pay attention when handling traps, guns, boiling water, etc etc lol

I agree with ADC on that point.
BTW, when I got caught that time it was just after finishing making the set a piece of brush dropped down into the trigger area and I tried to flick it out and didn't realize that the trigger wires were slightly bent towards me.
My fear of moving stairs is escalating!

I have Belisle 220's here. They terrify me! They are the least scary of all the bodygrippers to me. I know the safeties are still on and it can't catch me until I take them off and that is the last thing I do when leaving the set. The others the safeties fall off and nail you when they go off while you are positioning them. Absolutely correct No safety tool to use on the jaws . safest bodygrippers

ADC; I think, what it is, I grew up using long springs. I always knew where I was with those. Body grippers? Even the Springs bother me. I dread getting whacked by one of those, flying open. Figure in the Extreme power of a bigger Belisle. My ridiculously low level of life time experience working with BG's, at all? In honesty? I probably have no right messing with 220's. It was just a needs must situation. Yeah. I hope I never have to use them again. Horrible, scary things

Absolutely correct No safety tool to use on the jaws . safest bodygrippers I would opine that using duke magnums regularly set dog down, fall off safeties, without using setter or safety pin will drive home safe handling even quicker. All it's taken me is twice to learn. Position by holding springs, if jaws are touched palm only open hand.
