strike2x trapper Joined: Jan 2015 Posts: 3,446 Houghton Lake, MI	I do understand the pole release method works well although I don't have a good pole and I am sure many don't. I only use my pole for bobcat dispatch a time or 2 a year since we have limited season and tags. The tote is in the truck all the time and is MY preferred method. This topic is almost like trap preference, to each his own. I have to release several each year. We have a healthy population but no real season. Maybe some day. Wish I had more time to trap....
