Like debating which is a better mouse trap. I have mostly Griz but gotta admit I don’t like the the “staking” design for the griz and prefer the pointed stake on the duke

I hate anything that has a push pull trigger. Owned most of them and sold them all. Had 300 z traps for one year. IMO they are a pain in the butt to bait cause they are always snapping off when you shove bait into them. Re setting slows me down and I hate being slowed down. Coons grab and pull. IMO no push triggers are needed. That's why most of the push only trigger traps dont work and why they are collecting dust in people's barns. Push trigger traps also catch more non target animals. IMO push trigger traps defeat the purpose of a dog proof coon trap. Duke, or no bs traps for me. If you use the no bs I would take the rubber stopper out of them. I have a lot better wrist catches with the no b.s. trap when the rubber stoppers are removed from the trigger. I think the stoppers make the coon not have to put their paw in as far to pull up on the trigger. This makes the trap have alot of finger catches and pull outs.. IMO Take the stopper off of the trigger and the no bs trap is hard to beat. Comes rigged with Wolf fang anchors. Convenient and ready to roll right out of the box.
