Thanks for all the comments and support everyone! I knew trapping in such a heavily traveled area was going to be risky but I hoped others would be respectful and tried to conceal sets the best I could.

Maybe they will find a broken down snow machine and frozen guy with shotguns wolverine come spring.


Nothing much worse than a catch circle,blood and no catch. Well except no trap as well.

I have had with and without the trap in the past. I really hope they they catch the perpetrator.

Thanks! I have had some thoughts like those as well. Alaska is tough on you after all and people vanish or perish in the outdoors all the time.

Tamper with someone's traps in Maine and get caught and you lose your hunting, fishing and trapping licenses for three years. I had traps stolen this year and last. I'm glad I didn't catch them in the act.
