Of the total of 44 US Presidents: Obama rated 5th best president ever. I was just reading a Democratic publicity release that said, "...after a little more than 4 years, Obama has been rated the 5th best president ever."


The details according to White House Publicists:
* Reagan, Lincoln, and 8 others tied for first,
* 15 presidents tied for second,
* 17 other presidents tied for third,
* Jimmy Carter came in 4th, and
* Obama came in 5th...


That had to suck coming in behind Carter.

Inept as they come.

And he still sucks.

I say this out of concern for 2A.

Obama was among the worst presidents we have had in modern times. He was the one that incited racial tensions, flew around the world apologizing for the United States, and shipped all that money to Iran. Anti Christian. Big mouth, but no back bone.
Carter was a very poor President. Don't know how he ever made it through the Naval Academy.

IMO Carter made it through the Naval Academy because he had smarts, but was completely inept as President due to micromanaging and the lack of backbone. He was totally unsuited for the job but showed himself to be quite a fine person after leaving office.

Lol, O' bummer had community organizer credentials, and was teleprompter dependant.

I know this statement will be tough to swallow, cause it is hard for me to say it. But, Hillary was more qualified to be president than Obama was. For some reason, he was backed by some prominent people who liked his way of thinking and knew he could be manipulated.

I'd be a better Prez then obama since i retired i've Perfected doing nothing

It was a failed experiment , people voting for their favorite color at the time

Now that the Democrat cheating has been exposed it makes sense how he won a second term

Obama was a good speaker. He was simply a puppet for his handlers.

There has never been a former president who stuck his nose into his predecessor's presidency with a shadow government, democrat or republican.
I remember seeing a clip of GW Bush being asked by a reporter how he felt Obama had handled a particular situation? Bush's answer was, "Being president isn't easy. I'm not going to comment on or interfere. My time as president is over."

and now is right hand man...china joe is president elect.....so he does still have a chance at not being the worst president ever !!!!! lol

trouble with rating presidents is anyone alive can't comment on the first 30 or so having not been alive while they served.

In recent history Obama is one of the worst. I think Carter is the only one who was worse.
Trump is the best. For as much as Reagan is liked he did alot of bad/dumb things. He did make Americans proud of their country again which is worth alot.

He was a fantastic speaker who I enjoyed listening to even if I didn't agree with anything he was doing. Its the reason he was so popular. People would just get caught up in his speaking and miss what he was actually saying and even more importantly doing.

In 2005, the Discovery Channel had a contest where viewers were asked to write in who they thought the greatest Americans that ever lived were. Each week viewers were asked to send in their votes. It lasted 3 weeks starting with 100 names the first week. The second week it was narrowed down to 10 names. The third and final week it was down to 5 names. They were Abe Lincoln, Ronald Reagan, George Washington, Martin Luther King, and Ben Franklin. Viewers voted on those 5. The results were 1. Ronald Reagan, 2. Abe Lincoln, 3. MLK, 4. George Washington, 5. Ben Franklin.

Interestingly, Reagan beat Lincoln by a very narrow margin. Reagan had died just prior to this and it was felt this could have been a factor. Some other notable people in the top 10 were GW Bush, Bill Clinton, ELVIS, FDR, and Oprah rounded out the top 10.

Huh? A list of 5 presidents but 2 were never president?
