If they did not have enough evidence to get a search warrant then surely they could have ran some surveillance of the idiot couldn't they?

Look at all the people that came forward with irrefutable information that the 2020 election was stolen. That see something say something is only to get your conservative/republican/white/straight/male gun owning neighbors incarcerated.

Well, sure don't want to go down the road where LE can kick down your door without a warrant because someone says you're a bad guy, do you? No, I don’t.

Seems they could have checked up on the guy without a warrant ? Did they even go talk to him ? Don’t believe they needed a warrant for that ? I once had a right of way dispute with my neighbor, he blocked my access to my property, I took down the barricade and drove onto my property. He called the State Police, told them I was a “bad guy,” they came to see me without a warrant. They questioned me and realized it was a civil matter and left. I think that’s how it should work . Then I took my neighbor to court and whooped his arse. They are just lucky that no one was killed except the bomber. Otherwise I’ll bet Nashville LE would be getting some serious backlash now.

The report I heard was, they went to his house, but he didn't answer the door. seems like a easy why out for him. You would think that they would make a second visit. Even if he answered, then what?

Well, sure don't want to go down the road where LE can kick down your door without a warrant because someone says you're a bad guy, do you? No, We don't want to end up where all our doors get kicked in because we are guilty of being suspected in violation of the 4th amendment. On the other hand, don't even get me started on the "stellar" performance of the FBI these last 20 years while the ATF runs rampant over our 2nd amendment rights. The FBI is rotten to the core in the upper echelons of management while the street level special agents are hogtied by their corrupt bosses. IT's a SNAFU FUBAR situation at best. w

They have every right to ask, he has every right to not say a thing. Then what, obtain a warrant to beat an answer out of him? His (This word is unacceptable on Trapperman) off girlfriend said he’s making a bomb?
