Well a good mink lure really make much difference at a pocket set. Wether u use mink.lure or just bait ? I have found fish to be best bait, I think better than piece of rat carcass

Yes. A Mink Gland Lure works great this time of year for me. Dig a pocket, wettin it up for eye appeal, dip a stick in the bottle and place stick on the top of the pocket as far back as you can. You will catch BIG Males. Good Luck Dave!

Thinking maybe order possibly 2 bottles carman's mink lure. Unless alternative lure can be used that I got. Only thing close is boars delite or ldc call lure, skunk based., Or order a oz carman's mink gland an 1 of cronks from fnt post, probly $20 shipped. Definately not worth it but could throw $20 on something far worse, cronks good coon, I see, mink are what finished. ? Last year $5 top, not sure an maybe $4 top this season, ship to auction an maybe more someday , I not sure what auction house do with less than select mink if no sale in 2 years

From nov 10th to dec 17th I took over a 100. No lure. Only fish.
It works for me.
Don't overthink mink trapping. Find what works for you and do it a bunch of times.

Not to be negative. But not real prime on Nov 10, of course the price drop. Not lot diffence. Last year's mink sverage around $3.50 finish , I notice the resl prime ones in Dec, way down on number mink took this season compare last few years.

I will never kill a mink again for under 10.00. What a waste of time unless you are bored. Dave you cannot cover the cost of fuel to trap mink right now. Not trying to be neve but there is no positive to a 3.50 finished mink. As far as a mink lure, I never seemed to need it. Mink are hungry this time of year. LLL
