What trapping channels do you watch on YouTube? I typically just watch hunting channels (the hunting public and cat man outdoors). Going to check out some trapping ones. Curious which ones you have found to be the best/ most informative.

Id recommend watching all of Locklears (Wolfer Nation) videos. Ed Schneider videos are good too but a little repetitive recently. This is for cat and coyotes

Mine. Just kidding as I don’t have one. Who knows I may start one because my kids have asking to see me on tv for some reason. About the only one we have watched in our house so far is Coon Creek Outdoors

The best? That's debatable. I watch the wild north, coon creek, Hoosier trapper outdoors and 330 maniac, Some for entertainment, some for education.

If you want a laugh, traplines and inlines is some awesome stuff. Real deep rooted canadian. He catches a lot of coyooooootes. Young guy that has a lot of passion and work ethic.

MySide pretty much covered it all except Fur Addicts. I like how he takes his son out there. Ive been out in his country but it's night and day to trapping cats and greys around here. Trapper J is very entertaining but maybe not for the kids. I really like 330 Maniac and the Hoosier boys. Took the kids 7 hours out to see the hoosier boys out in Indiana last year for there trappers day. Charlie and his kin and son in law Justin Jett are some good people with good products and information. I'd like to get a real channel started but I just can't muster up the effort. Got a couple videos uploaded and a dozen I should. Channel is my name for now. Brian Daugherty. Check out my couple videos if you have the time. My first video is a pig of a yote from last year but I didn't do it very formal. Doesn't get much better than Live More Outdoors for a local guy. I like his channel and it's the most relatable to my trapping.

We're starting to build up quite a collection of trapping vids on our channel, and we'll be videoing a trip to Kansas next week to chase coyotes and cats that'll go up shortly after that too... Our "Catching Cats" video just hit 80,000 views, and I'm pretty proud of some of the trail-camera footage I've been able to collect in it as well as the "Catching Canines" video.

Appreciate any of you guys that want to take a look.

I've watched a fair number of them. Some are better than others. When they start tallying their possum/raccoon catch I generally stop watching. I'm also not really into watching the basics of trapping sets which a number of them tend to show.

I'd say it depends on what you want to get out of it. For entertainment purposes and a different way of trapping then we are used to in the states my top would be Traplines and Inlines. He's got some interesting off the grid buildings he does, raises some chickens, and kills the coyotes. He's also pretty fun to listen to when he gets all wound up. Much the same TheWildNorth was probably my first Canada channel I really followed well. He's also a hoot. If you want to see a guy kill a bunch of coyotes up north Jason Engele has a pretty good channel I believe it's called Engele Trapping. Trapper J is an all around interesting channel to watch in the missouri area for the entertainment and his friend Flair also has a crazy channel with some trapping.

As Greg posted above if you're looking to get into trapping with cats/coyotes he does a nice job of breaking down all of the different sets etc. I watched them once but I will say I'll be more interested in the on the line trapping. Ed Schneider Kansas Trapline also does a good job of showing specific sets I am a bit biased I took instruction from him. One of these days I am going to send Ed a microphone because the sound on his videos is horrendous but it's great content. Coon Creek has a lot of informational videos and I will say I thoroughly enjoyed his jug fishing this summer for catfish.

The management advantage videos pretty much take you through the basics. Was a good show to watch once but if you've trapped a whole lot there's not much you haven't seen that they talk about. Trapping the Ozarks is a pretty straight forward showing and I really like the way he uses trail cameras to watch his sets. It's educational. He apparently has quite the dog problem in his neck of the woods.

I started to watch Hoosier Outdoors but I'll be honest they've been overtaken with ads for their sponsors and only about 10 minutes out of about 30 minutes worth of trapping. If they'd cut the ads I'd likely watch them again. It's just too much.

A hidden gem I found this summer was Trapping Oklahoma. The guy's got a voice I enjoy and he just seems like a good old farmer that likes to trap. He's definitely worth watching.

I've found rather than the sets, locations, etc. I've been drawn to watching guys actually out on their lines. The good/bad/ugly. That's just my preference though. It's interesting to see the differences around the country.

I don't have cable so when I'm awake at home and my family is sleeping (I work nights and get on that schedule) youtube has become something to keep the night moving. I will say Traplines and Inlines I wait to watch when I know I won't nod off as I find his content very interesting.
