That Backbreaker, beaver, marten, wolverine, and wolf. It is my absolute favorite. What a solid product.

Good to know I'm not alone. I've been doing nose hits on this forever. My favorite deer lure. It used to go under the name of Scrape-Mate but the guy sold out. I tracked him down and bought a gallon of it. ![[Linked Image]](https://trapperman.com/forum/attachments/usergals/2021/01/full-50853-77858-img_1775.jpg) ..... “ Nose Hits “..... now there’s an old saying ...only a roaster would pick up on...lol

Boss Man has the best lures, in my book. I buy them from the link on the page. I don’t know, but I hope he gets a little more that way instead of me buying them through a bigger outfit like MTP, etc. I bought directly from boss. Cut the middleman out.

I can truthfully say I have never tried Backbreaker because I've had good success making my own castor-based lure. But, I have used Woodchipper with great success when beaver got castor shy. I would highly recommend Woodchipper lure. I even like the smell of it. I told my wife I like the smell so much I was thinking I could wear it as a cologne! Woodchipper has become my favorite beaver lure. Its the first one I reach for at a new location every time

Hands down my favorite beaver lure. Any time I’m having trouble setting up a spot or catching beaver, I slap a castor mound in with some back breaker and collect my beaver the next day. Works like a charm.
