During the winter months here in MN I've been running Nitto Terra Grapplers. This is my third year on this set and they should easily make another winter after this one. They are a great tire in snow and ice. Plus, they really seem to wear well. I switch over to summer tires about April.
The difference between animals and humans is that animals would never let the dumbest ones lead the pack.

Nexen Roadian MTX are what I run on my trucks aggressive but they work, this set is going on 2nd years now I’m very happy with them. You cannot always get traction, less wear and quiet out of the same tires.

BFG AT KO2's. Just replaced a set that had almost 60,000 on them. Used for Hunting,Trapping,Fishing, Pulling Boats/Camper, plus I have to drive an hour to work before roads are plowed in the winter. They've never failed or faltered. Downside is they are pricey. These, great tires. Low road noise but tough 10 ply.

When I bought my truck they had BF Goodrich KO2’s on and I really liked them. Put 95,000kms on them and just bought a new set last week. I do a lot of hiway driving, gravel roads, back country travel, snow, and drive on the ice for ice fishing and feel very confident with these tires on.

I've used ten ply tires all of my life on my trucks. Just put on a set of twelve ply's the brand is Terra Trooper. We'll see how they stand up on these rough dirt and rocky roads I live and work on.
