This is going to be in the style of an early English trade gun, think Bumford, Type G or Carolina gun. The barrel is a 48 inch long 20 gauge, 1 1/4 inches wide at the breech. Stock is a slab of walnut. He's got the rough profile cut in the stock, the barrel in and pinned and is working on the lock, starting with just the bare plate.

k snow OP trapper K Joined: Oct 2009 Posts: 6,431 east central WI	Ness, the fusil's muzzle is even with my eyebrows. Any taller and I'd need a stool. Makes the 42's seem real short after shooting it for a while. The long sight radius is nice, have shot cloverleafed 5 shot groups at 25 yards.
