I just did a search on-line for charging stations in my area (lufkin, tx.), and only found one, located at a Nissan dealership. You'd better not come here needing to charge your batteries.lol

my son was showing me a video of a mechanic/body shop guy who built himself Tesla from wrecked ones.
when tesla found out they turned his car off , well his ability to use the rapid charge.
you see the software in the car is licensed not sold , and the license is lost when the car is sold for scrap.
your car can not function for long independent of the network.
yeah I am going to keep burning gas , I have computers in my vehicles but they are at least network independed
makes ne think about finding a old truck with points and condencer though , I think I would miss air conditioning in the summer.
America only has one issue, we have a Responsibility crisis and everything else stems from it.

Like most things, it takes time to build up the infrastructure. If it continues to take hold they will pop up in more places. Many private businesses in my area are putting in plugs for their customers to use......breweries, restaurants, etc. Check out plugshare.com for a very comprehensive map of charging options. But as Lufkin pointed out, options are limited in some areas. Happy trapping! ScottW

Our mayor wants the entire city fleet to go electric. We have a few electric cars, and lots of hybrids. Even our new police cars are hybrids. We don't have anywhere near the electrical capacity to quick charge an entire fleet, though. Beat rice or Lincoln?
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

What's New for 2022? ... Hummer is Back With a 1,000-hp Electric Pickup ... All-wheel drive is standard and GMC estimates a zero-to-60-mph time of 3.0 seconds, which the company says ...
