Anyone see the this a.m.'s show? Only got to see a little piece and had to go. Guy was nuisance beaver trapping in Alabama. Was doing real good with #5 bridgers on a drown cable. He was setting at dam breaks. Here's my Q: How? I do very poorly setting at or in front of dam breaks. BC the beaver plow the bottom well before the break to gather muck and debris to shove into the break. I usually find a sprung 330 or foot trap buried. I have had success using a dam break to steer them toward a pinch point with a 330 or a scent mound. Usually I do better working dam crossovers, runs and pinch points, and use a dam break to see if I got em all. I want to hear if you guys do any good that way and how, especially in the South with high populations. Thanks!
