IMHO I much prefer No BS k9 extremes and MB650.
The NO BS extremes are starting to prevail IMHO over the MB 650.
If they both came about the same time and both had equal use by Trappers I'd say 100% that the NO BS Extremes would be a better known and the much preferred Trap!

Best coyote trap in my book is the one with a coyote in it! Lol all kidding aside, this is like the Ford/Chevy/dodge argument. Lots of people have lots of opinions and all of them are right and all of them are wrong, depending on who you ask. I haven’t had the opportunity to try the real high end coyote traps, but from my experience the one I like the best is an mb550 or Bridger #3 full mods dog on. Tried a few different types of dogless and never liked any of them. In soft soil it’s hard to beat a #4 double longspring though.

No such thing as the best yote trap. All have their strengths and weaknesses. Lots of great options out there.
I'm itchin' to see a coyote twitchin'.
More trappin' and less yappin'.

There are quite a few very good coyote footholds out there, fall trapping MB 550's are hard to beat, all weather trapping Victor Montgomery #3,4 are very good,Montana's 3's,Bridger #3,have not used them, but I'm guessing the new Harris coyote trap will be excellent,No BS might have the best lock up ,but are a little heavy,my self I run 70 to 75% Sterling MJ 600's which is the BEST OF THE BEST that i've ever trapped with for coyote's and bobcat's.Jake's are also another great trap for both critter's.

The best one as been said is one with a coyote in it. You will get 100 answers from 100 people. I have Duke’s, Briger, MB, some sleepy creek. They will all hold a coyote. Some need a little more tweaking than others all have things that I would change about them. With a little work a duke 1 3/4 is a vicious little trap and will hold anything that steps in it. Really like the bridger #2s with a few tweaks, they are great. The MB 550s are a good trap that don’t need a lot done to it. We don’t have a huge coyote population so you have to run a lot of ground to find them. More traps in the ground = more chances. So use what you can afford and can tend too.
