And on top of what Boco said, Most municipalities have zoning and subdivision controls as well, limiting what property owners can do with their property.

Your right Boco. I’ve been saying this for years. We don’t own our land just rent it. Don’t pay your rent (property taxes) for three years and they will evict you and start renting to someone else.

Well, all my guns got lost in a lake, and my traps might go into the same lake. Set, of course, in front of a castor mound or pipe set.

No one else in our family traps. If trapping is outlawed then they become fairly worthless for income or transferring to other trappers. If I am unable to trap prior to being dead or incompetent I will work out a disposal plan. I will put together a list of options and names for family if I am gone. No use for them to deal with items they have little to no knowledge about.

IF trapping is outlawed, it would be recreational trapping that is outlawed. ADC and research trappers (government) would still be allowed. We will just get to charge them for trapping, and make more money off of them.
