Where would be the best tannery to get some done? A long time friend of ours here in NH....has them all done ....but I can ask him where he sends them..if you want ?

Medical grade sheepskins can be washed since they are chrome tanned. I use Medical grade sheepskins outdoors as skidoo seats, and lined the sleighs when hauling the kids out to camp when they were small, and lots of other uses like pillows, and to sit on in cold weather. They are the top quality sheepskins on the market and the toughest for outdoor use. They also have a medium knap.

What exactly is weird about recomending a top quality product? I have no idea what you are thinking.
