Nice! How is the fur looking over your way? I pulled everything about two weeks ago as the fur was starting to break down.

Congrats! Interesting color combos you have up there! I think yotes tend to be darker living around lots of patches of woods. Sort of makes sense, Mossy oak and real tree are great camos for hunting in woods but are too green hunting dried grasslands and dried cattails. Probably the same with coyote colors. The ones that can "disappear" into their surroundings survive longer to have more offspring. Those that stand out, get picked off more easily...

They are starting to look scruffy in the hips, but there seems to be a lot of them in this area and they need to be thinned out a bit. The land owners are happy I am getting a few. The last two I caught were really starting to break so regretfully pulled everything. I pulled about 2-3 weeks ago and am really missing the daily checks. Even the dog misses our morning jaunts! Buyer will be in town tomorrow morning and I hope to get a fair price for mine.
