And the surface of the sun is 10 million degrees, shining on the earth's surface. Why is the earth warming?
Life ain't supposed to be easy.

I don't typically read from the old English translator's text, but I do appreciate how they translated what the Creator of creation said. And He knows. He made it all;
"The wind blowers where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth; so it is every one that is born of the Spirit." (John 3:8).
You have to be regenerated or you can't even sense any of it. Glad there's a Good Book revealing that for us.
Blessings, Mark

Scientists say that the Rocky Mountains were carved by glaciers moving across the continent. Then the glacier melted. I'm thankful for that global warming. I like the mountains. One can find shark teeth laying about the ground east of Russell Kansas. Global change. What is the make-up of the coal in northeast Wyoming? Must've been heavy vegetation there before the mountains were formed. ? I saw rocks yesterday that had crustacean shells molten into the rocks. Global change. Ever seen Fremont Canyon in Wyoming below Pathfinder Reservoir? More global change. Now global change is frightening. I've always thought the Rockies were formed by tectonic plate activity and that they are still growing.

But Mark June; you forget that before WW1 the Kiaser's scientists invented a process to fix nitrogen for fertilizer. Also explosive and poison gas. But synthetic fertilizer is responsible for increasing the carrying capasaity of humans by 2 billion people. Before that soil was fertilized by manure. Which had a limited supply. So synthetic fertilizer is responsible for over populations. Which is a much bigger problem than climate change. So humans have already surpast the limits of creation.

But one thing Ryan and I apologized pre comments. How do you expect a Ky person to agree about global warming when last page you said it was 56 below zero LOL . How many days has it been that cold? what is the forecast on length of those temps? Sigh. To travel safely in the north country requires prolonged periods of cold. Being from the south it's hard for you to fathom how little ice can be made what is that cold for a day or two and how quickly ice can he road even when it's below zero

I posted back in March of last year it was the human distemper. You know the thing that kills coons when the population gets too high........ Plus the reason cancer cures will never be rampant . No where to put people....

People who live it know that it is warmer now than 40-50 years ago. it is noticeable in the North because of how we travel and live out on the land over a lifespan and learning how to navigate the land from several generations that have gone before us. People living all the time in farmland civilization dont know and remain in the dark because they are far removed from wilderness. The only time most of these people go to the wilderness is for a week fishing or hunting in Northern Canada.

That is an humanist opinion statement and nothing more. Our world has countless false teachings. Pick one if you'd like. ust one week ago Biden and John Kerry scream we only have 9 more years to live because of global warming . This week the coldest air mass in decades is headed towards the US. Just after the biggest snow storm up north in years (according to the weather channel... Hmmmm...must be on a different path than for us. We baked last week with no rain and looks like baking this week, with maybe 30% chance of rain on Thursday. Two weeks above 90 and no rain isn't good for the young corn and soybeans. I hope your "cold" air and precip show up here. If it doesn't rain for most of June, crops will be toast...

Scientists say the earth was quite warm when the dinosaurs roamed. I can see evidence that glaciers once was in Kansas, so I can conclude that it was much colder at that time. I do not think all of the dinosaur's factories and automobiles caused the earth to cool to the point that the glaciers pushed down to Kansas. I also don't believe the woolly mammoths cars and factories caused it to warm up to the point the ice melted. My point is the earth is constantly changing and I do not believe there is a darn thing we can do to change it. We just have to adapt with it or go extinct like the mentioned creatures that roamed the earth prior to us. Evidence suggests that the woolly mammoths and dinosaurs had way more sense than us, as they did not build big cities close to the ocean shores
