I never got into the RC stuff much. Played around with a few but nothing much.

I did however race these things when I was 7-12 years old. The track I ran on wasn't exactly like this one, but fairly close. We had a great time, it was cheap even for that time, and it kept me out of trouble. LOL Some of the BIG races at "Jerry's Hobby Shop" were anywhere from 4 hr races to 12 hr races.

Never got into the cars, but I flew RC gliders for years. It was great relaxation after work to hike up to the top of a ridge in the wind, turn everything on and throw the glider into the wind.

Nice buggy! I havent got into electric yet but kind of wanting too, a buddy at work is building a pretty nice electric rig. Will be fun to see how it stacks up against my nitro. Seems like electric is way less work but its hard to beat nitro for just smashing around for hours.

Those slot cars are a blast too. I have a nice one we built laying around some where. A club had a nice track here in my area for awhile but i ended up getting out of it cuz there was a few guys that thought they were the only racers on the track and and everytime they crashed it was some ones fault and someone didn't get their car back on the track fast enough. Lol i had one guy holding the trigger down so when i set his car back on the track it would take off and flip and he did it twice and then started yelling at me (wasnt my first day at the track either) i just stood there holding his car and told him when hes done yelling and lets off the gas ill put his car back on the track....he didnt win...haha

I had a bunch of Traxxas nitros T-maxx, rustlers and got tired of dealing with the nitro tuning and glow plugs sold them all and went brushless way happier. I have a Red Cat Black Out now with upgraded shocks and man does that thing move and I enjoy it way more than the nitros.

Thanks, I ran nitro buggies for about 10 years and switched to electric a couple of years ago. There's nothing like the sound and smell of nitro but the electric sure is a lot easier.

Nice, I started racing with an rc 10 also and I am still racing 1/12 scale carpet cars for a few months during the winter.
