Texas Hill Country
Last year I came across a gallon of bait down in the bottom of an old refrigerator in the backside. I have several of them that quit working and I put stuff in them.
I got it out and it was marked 'fall of 2003'. Been there awhile. Had a little juice on the top but the rest was kind of spammy. It still had a scent, so I poked a hole down thru the center and poured in a mixture of water and light mineral oil. Did this several times and it softened up and I could mix it.
So I thought why not give it a test and see.
I smeared some on the bottom of a rock and turned on the photoer.

Might want to check that old stuff before chunking it.
I am sure you can't get ingredients today with the quality that I did in'03.

Lure makers, please don't chunk any spears at me !

Sit on your horse on top of a ridge, look out across the country and tell me there is no God.

And get better chain...

Money cannot buy you happiness, but it can buy you a trapping license and that's pretty close.
