People need to wake up. It is not hard to connect the dots and see what is truly going on here. Who has big interest in fake meat...George Soros. Who has big interest in owning huge amounts of farmland.. Bill Gates... Who are the big elites pushing for the one world order????
Their slogan is........"YOU WILL OWN NOTHING AND BE HAPPY"

At some point taxes will prohibit anyone from owning farmland or a house.
I agree. It's already happening. You don't really own anything. I own all my land "free and clear", but the taxes are about like a rent payment. If you think you own something, just stop paying taxes and watch and see how fast it gets auctioned for dirt to get the next sucker on the hook.

Yet Bill Gates is now one of if not the largest ag landowner in the country.
Reminds me of old judge Stephen's back home during the depression snapping up land left and right on tax defaults. That family is still hated to this day.

I'm sure they can figure out how to get you taxed out of your ground and farm even if you buy it cheap from dad or grandpa.
This has me very concerned.
My place I put into a trust so no probate issues. I also don't technically own it the trust dose. How that will affect taxes such is something I need to look into. Maybe dad needs to transfer his part to the trust?

Our family ground plus the ground owned by my parents was all put into trusts. They did this a number of years ago. The hope was to transfer the ground to the next person on the trust without making any transactions. My parents were planning ahead and all of their ground I am listed on the trust. By the time it would come to me I’m sure they’ll have something put in place to stop such things from happening. Hopefully I’m grandfathered in. I learned a while ago you’re only renting your ground from the government. You never truly “own” land in the land of the free.

My father has done the same. Doesn't even own the clothes on his back. The biggest chunk of that is a 270 acre parcel that's been held by us since 1813. Plus some added recently and a huge bit of invested timber sales from the last twenty or so years.

Our land is all in a trust as well for the reasons you've stated. In the big scheme of things we're just merely caretakers for a short while. Alot of people may not understand it, but I often ponder if when I'm gone if someone will care for and take as good of care of this chunk of ground as i have. Will it it mean as much to them as it has to me? no one can look at a piece of ground and "see" the same things the person who has cared for and worked with the land has, even though may be "looking" at the same land.

I'm trying to pass that on. My granny drilled it in our heads saying, if you got land take care of the land and it will take care of you. That it has, fed and provided for eight generations of us so far.

I was in a wrecks and my 2and child first son was killed in it at 16 months old. A 19 year old ran a red light at 65mpd in a 3/4ton 4x4.
He didn't have enough insurance and there was not near enough with my added under insured motorist coverage added. We could have sued the kid an reciever a 2 million judgment but we were told it would only drag it out longer and he would just go bankrupt. Also our legal fees would go way up.
It was tied up over 2 years at that point and it was looking like I may end up going bankrupt. I didn't have to but that stuck with me.
Now I don't want to own anything on paper. That way I have nothing worth the trouble of going after and its hopefully protected for the kids and grand kids In the future. I hope to some day get an investment set up that makes enough to pay the taxes and the accountant that can make sure it gets taken care of. That way if none of the kids want to do anything with the farm they can walk away but it will still be available if any grand kids or great grand kids do in the future.
But that's probably just a fantasy. In a few generations I don't believe there will be private property for the common people.
